I bet most of you’ll saw the news last night. It was with Dr Silva. It was quite funny, and I would say quite embarassing.

Fair enough he behaved in the worst manner, he is a leader right? who people follow? but I was just wondering, are media stations allowed to insult them straight out ?

In one news program they called him a clown. Is that right? Yes he did act in for most unruly way but I guess he was annoyed. Maybe his son caused a lot of it, I think he was the one who based up a club, I think it was clancys and now beat up police but is his father to blame for all this ?

Yes I have heard the son goes every where with a bodyguard and some people told me at clubs they dance around him, but why is he gving his father so much problems.

It was good that he owned up to the police, but then again, with all these problems occuring with young people there is great fear but at the same time, when you are under the influence these tend to happen when you know you are invincible.

Back to the point, is the media allowed to insult, however bad a leader acts, inslut then in such a manner. I don’t think the BBC would ever say things like that, but they would quote a local station of calling a leader a clown. That’s different.

This is not good for the image of the station also. I think they should have refered to some bystander stating that he acted like a clown and not say it themselves.

well lets stay tuned to our local tv, seems like we are getting some interesting stories and in a way I’m glad they showed the video.

But one thing, stations should not have too much freedome to say their own thought, their job is only to report. The news person should have just said “someone said ………”
