Does CDAX work ?

I was just wondering about this CDAX thing I have seem so much in the news papers these days. It’s a great idea for one who trades a lot. I have done a few trades, but have sadly not made much.

It would be great to always be able to access this all the time and we do always have our phones with us.

Only thing is to do this, I think you need a smart phone. I’m not sure if it just work on a normal java based phone. So I downloaded the application onto my symbian based phone, it’s a nokia 3650 it a smartphone and installed it.

Basically it supports 4 stock firms, Asia Securities, Asha Phillip Securities, Ceylinco Stock Brokers and Lanka Securities. You will have to go to their offices and sign up, not too sure of the rates.

What I’m trying to get at is, they signed up with Dialog which is a great company, then they got 4 big stock firms with them, now my problem is who is doing CDAX ?

If I’m to give access to my investments, I’d like to know my transactions are safe or in other words my money is safe. www.cdax.lk is their site. It’s not something I would be too confident going with. Most of the links on the site don’t work. Some of the terms are not correct.

There is one line “Please download the CDAX Mobile GPRS application software on to your phone from dialog@wap.lk.” you cannot download it from dialog@wap.lk as that is an email address. Shouldn’t it be download it from Dialogs wap site ? I might be wrong, but please correct me. Links that don’t work are – Trade CDAX, in partner details about their partners, and so on.

All I’m saying is, if we are to be safe with our investments, we must know who is doing this and atleast get the basic things working. As this is web based the web site should be perfect. If the web site can’t be done properly, I don’t know how the web application or the mobile application is.

CDAX should get someone to look into this as it will not look too good for their partners.

Has anyone used this ? Please let us know how it is.

Thank You
