What’s was good about 31st at these venues. Let’s see I ended up going for the Party at Mount, done by Colombo Night Life (colombonewyear.com). It was good packed up, but they can’t organise. Tables that were booked were given to others, and well we ended up without a table even though are table name was on the list. The big shots and the organisers made sure they had their tables, but well who cares about their paying guests.
In that way the guys who organise the Galle face even know what they are doing, very professional, but now they are outdated and well the venue is just filled with spoilt rich kids.
Good points at Mount were the crowd, they got it packed, set up a great dance floor, but that’s it. Chasers were Rs.150 which was a bit high. The so called BREAKFAST was CRAP !!!!!! They gave us Kiribath and Lunu Miris !!!! They really cheated their guests on the breakfast. At Galle Face those guys provided an excellent breakfast !!!! CNL what happened with the food, was profit more important than the value for money for your guests ???
Anyway enough bashing, this was their first new year event, they did a great job with a few flaws, I’m sure the next will be BETTER !!!!
And the Galle Face guys, I think you guys need a change of venue, you guys know how to plan an event but Galle Face is now old news, get a new location.

on behalf of cnl i would like to sincereley apologise for the short comings experienced on the night.
i personally agree with all the criticisms made and we can guarantee none of these problems will be experienced next year. As for the break fast no it was not a cost cutting measure, on our part we paid the hotel a very substantial lump sum for the venue which included break fast. As far as we were informed the menu was not as how it turned out.
As it was our first time a few logistical issues were overlooked as we tried to place emphasis on attributes other new years parties seem to have ignored.
I hope you agree that minus these problems it was an amazing party!! , and hope to see u next year at ur table ! please feel free to contact me on the above e mail ad if u have any more comments and suggestions ..

Im Shan.
31st i was at Trans Asia.The night was filled with lods of fun we stayed there the whole day and was very happy during the night.I even met a new partner who took me to a new level.Every single was good for Ladies and drinks.
The F****D up thing was the DJ’s they music was f****D i cant believe there big names but they got ma drinks licking my ass if the son of that bit**h was there outside i would have kicked da ass.
next time dont fuck it up please….
The food is very good n everything is perfect.
Keep rollin catch ya this year.
Dont please get those DJ’s cos they gonna get hammered this year for sure…
