SLIIT won Microsoft award for their work and a team of students r in Cairo. they r the 1st place in Sri lanka followed by University of Moratuwa. those so called other big IT institutions didnt come close to it. There's nothing wrong with SLIIT or its quality, it all depends on the students. those who put in effort succeed and those who dont fail even if they were in Bangalore! This is pure bullshit. It say nothing about quality. :). Any way people at SLIIT got better things to do that participating large number of students in something just to get a rank. Having a top rank there says nothing about quality its simply about quantity. It should also be noted that Imagine CUP participants from SLIIT are not final year students.
